Seeking a self-motivated professional to transform how our client governs its digital information. Based in the firm’s Office of General Counsel, and working closely with the firm’s Information Technology department, the Manager for Information Governance Systems will serve as firm’s lead systems professional for governance of digital information. This professional will lead a team of systems engineers, specialists, and vendors focused on implementing system controls that promote compliance with records retention policies, client confidentiality requirements, data privacy regulations, and information security protections.

It would be preferred to have a bachelor’s degree and law firm experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience with each of the following is also preferred; evaluating, designing & documenting system processes, processing structured & unstructured data for import/export, creating data reports, and managing projects. Ability to analyze and visualize data with spreadsheets, data dashboards and other data reporting tools. Substantive knowledge of information management practices related to records retention, data privacy controls, and user practices that promote cyber security.

Experience with FileTrail records & information governance software, NetDocs document management software, Veritas Enterprise Vault information governance/email management software, Intapp identity & access management software, Aderant case management software along with Microsoft 365 are also all preferred. Experience with SQL databases and Microsoft Power BI is preferred as well.

ARMA MILWAUKEE CRA/CRM STUDY GROUP – STILL TIME TO JOIN IN FOR EXAM ONE STUDIES

ARMA Milwaukee’s CRA/CRM Study Group meets electronically on Wednesday nights to study one particular test in the CRA/CRM process.  The group completed studies for the CRA exams (2, 3 and 4) and just began studying for Exam 1 of the certification track this past Wednesday September 23, 2020.  It’s not too late to jump in.  Interested individuals can contact me at rgureski@wi.rr.com*There is no charge to be part of this group.

MEMBERSHIP COOPERATIVE GROUP

A new collaborative group has been formed by local chapter leadership that will focus on Membership.  This collaborative effort is being led by ARMA Nebraska Past-President, Amber Roberts.  Amber is looking to hear from board members from different chapters who would like to take part in this new working group.  The next meeting is set for October 6, 2020.  Please contact Amber if you’re interested in attending.  (Amber.Roberts@gavilon.com)

ARMA PROGRAMS PASSPORT – TRAVEL THE COUNTRY AND ENJOY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SAFELY

ARMA MILWAUKEE SPRING SEMINAR-MANIA
